Boredom and apathy can result in wonderful things. So can agitation and turmoil. I’ve always wanted to make a career out of being upset, but that’s unlikely to happen at the moment so I’ve made it into a hobby.

This is a comic that’s missing the comedy. It’s a tragedy that isn’t tragic. It’s life. It’s cathartic. It’s an excuse to draw pictures and breath in Sharpie fumes.

The name viewsocruel, or view so cruel, or view·so·cru·el comes from the Skinny Puppy song “Warlock.” It is chaos and distraction intertwined with beauty and truth. I’ll continue searching to see the beauty until I go blind and I’ll stay true even as my soul is burned from my body.
